The Atip-Avenir program, initiated by a partnership between Inserm and the CNRS, allows about twenty young researchers each year to set up their own research team in the fields of life sciences and health. This program has already benefited more than 400 promising scientists.
Created in 1990 and 2000, then merged in 2009, the Atip programs of the CNRS Institute for Biological Sciences and Inserm’s Avenir program help young researchers to set up an independent team in the fields of life sciences and health. This program also aims to promote the mobility of researchers and attract young talent to French laboratories.
